This past September, we were honored to be asked by our friend and fellow wedding photographer Ellen to film her gorgeous late summer wedding at Edson Hill in Stowe, VT and it was an absolute dream. We recently decided to transition to only offering Super 8 wedding films after adding it to our work and realizing we loved it, and Ellen and Will were the first couple whose wedding video was only on Super 8.

Ellen and Will had their ceremony in a field beneath an arbor, and they each wrote their own heartfelt vows. Ellen looked amazing in her bohemian gown with long sleeves from Willoughby by Watters and her veil embroidered with delicate flowers. The escort table was brimming with flowers and locally sourced fruit, and guests dined on an open deck overlooking the rolling hills and mountains. The reception tables were laden with taper candles and colorful wildflowers in vases that Ellen and Will thrifted themselves for their celebration. After dinner, everyone went down to the patio to dance under string lights and be entertained by The Tenderbellies. Later, the dance floor was transformed into a disco after party complete with colorful props.

As beautiful as every detail of this wedding was, the most beautiful part was how present everyone was. We lost count of all the hugs and joyful smiles, and Will and Ellen were brimming with happiness. It was absolutely magical.
