Ashley and Brian got married on a bright, sunny day this past June in the beautiful Berkshires. They chose to celebrate with their family and friends for the whole weekend at The Lake House Guest Cottages of the Berkshires, which was a super fun and gorgeous venue.
After their lakeside ceremony and a celebratory tequila shot with family and friends, Ashley and Brian drove with us up to Mount Greylock for some portraits. We pulled over on the side of the road and walked through forest carpeted with ferns. They laughed while blowing dandelion fluff at each other in a field overlooking the mountains and Brian always helped Ashley gather up her dress and veil as they walked.
Back at the venue, guests mingled on the lawn and underneath the lovely reception tent. Everything was decorated with banners and paper goods from Lovely Lina Designs, and the absolutely amazing floral design was done by Still Flowers.
Beyond the beautiful details, what stood out to me most about this wedding was how completely Ashley and Brian’s families embraced one another. Ashley danced with Brian’s father and Brian danced with Ashley’s mother for the parent dances, and then they all ended up dancing in a giant group hug together for the end of it. All their family and friends were so much fun and just so happy for them.
Big thanks also go out to my second shooter Jess, who was amazing as usual. Ashley and Brian – thank you for having us at your beautiful day.
