Missy and Luke had their wedding in central Massachusetts this summer on a lovely little farm and I was so honored to be their wedding photographer. Missy went to the same high school as me, so it was awesome to hear from her and reconnect when she contacted me about photographing her wedding. On our first phone call, she described the wedding as a bohemian garden party and I knew right then and there I was going to love everything.

And let me tell you – it did not disappoint! There were farm animals (so, so many adorable farm animals) and gardens teeming with green and late summer blooms. Missy looked amazing in her boho wedding dress with its unique hemline that made it perfect for twirling around. And she even made floral crowns for all the guests to wear during the ceremony! After the sweet and heartfelt ceremony, we wandered the grounds for portraits and walked among the flowers and sat on mossy hillsides. We even made friends with some sweet little piglets while we were exploring!

After portraits, Missy and Luke joined their guests for their reception and enjoyed some delicious food before the party started.  They shared their first dance and parent dances as everyone looked on, and then danced into the night with friends and family. It was such a lovely, balmy evening that guests were able to enjoy lawn games and being outside even after dinner, long after the sun went down.
