I’ve had nearly a year to think about what to say about this engagement session and I still feel like I am coming up short. Meghan and Justin are magic together. From our very first meeting I felt like we had known each other for much longer than a few hours. Their wedding last October was so beautiful and emotional (keep an eye out for that post soon). But a few months before the wedding, they took me to Halibut Point State Park for their engagement session. It was a cloudy, kind of dreary day, but we decided to cross our fingers, hope it didn’t rain too hard, and go for it anyway. I am so glad we did. As I was driving to the location, I rounded a corner and saw the most profound fog creeping in over the New England coastline. And so, we ended up walking through the forest and climbing over the rocks surrounded by mist and listening to the booming of the ocean. We exclaimed about how we had the place all to ourselves and I made a lot of bad jokes. Afterward we grabbed some food and some drinks and talked into the evening.
