If you’ve been following my blog at all, you might remember Meghan and Justin’s epic foggy engagement session. And let me tell you, their wedding was no less than amazing. With lovely details, forest portraits, one of the most emotional first looks I have ever had the pleasure of photographing, and dancing into the night, the entire day was just so stinking epic from start to finish.
I really can’t say enough good things about these two. They are fun and they are obviously crazy about one another. Their family and friends were just as awesome as them. Oh and did I mention that they have amazing style? I mean, just check out Meghan’s vintage gown and incredible headpiece. Not to mention they designed their own wedding stationery and Meghan made their bohemian macramé ceremony backdrop herself.
Meghan and Justin hosted their shindig at the Rivermill at Dover Landing in Dover, New Hampshire. The cool, brick industrial space was the perfect venue for their 1920s themed celebration. Meghan’s bridesmaids wore super fun beaded and fringed dresses and headpieces. There were lots of vintage touches like old Victrola motifs and speakeasy-inspired cocktails. The flowers, which were designed by a friend of Meghan’s, were lush and gorgeous and full of autumn colors. They went perfectly with the rich, warm color scheme.
After some delicious food, Meghan and Justin partied with their guests well into the night. There was a cigar bar, a fun photobooth, and dancing – so much good dancing. Then, as the perfect end to the festivities, all the wedding guests ushered Meghan and Justin out in a sparkler exit.
Meghan and Justin, thank you so much for having us document your wedding day. You two rock and it was an honor. And big thanks to Cara Brostom for second shooting this one with me. Some of her incredible work is featured in the post. And thanks Jess Nadolski for being an assistant extraordinaire!
