This past November, I went to the Pacific Northwest for the first time and did some traveling around Oregon and Washington. I visited Portland, Seattle, the Oregon Coast, Bend, and a few other places in between. And I loved it all. More photos from my travels will be on here soon.
While I was there, I attended the Let’s Go Workshop in Manzanita, Oregon – a little town on the coast near Cannon Beach. And it was wonderful. Not only did I get to learn from some of the best in the industry and get inspired for the upcoming wedding season – I also made a bunch of friends and got to know some wonderful people. It was amazing.
So today I am sharing the first of many shoots while I was there – a styled elopement on the Oregon Coast! Cedar and Swoon were the best models for this and they were such good sports about running around on the beach. Most of the time when I was there it was foggy and cloudy, but the sun happened to shine on us for about an hour or so as we were shooting these photos. We went to Hug Point, which is one of the loveliest places I have seen. The dramatic evergreen forests go straight down to the beach, and cliffs form a lovely little rocky cove.
Bramble Floral Design created the most gorgeous textural bouquets and the gown from Truvelle Bridal was so dreamy. You all probably know how I feel about a dress that moves in the wind… Seriously though, brides who are getting married in 2018 and still need a dress – definitely check them out.
I could say so much more about this elopement, but as usual, the photos say everything better than I can.

Keep an eye out for more from the Pacific Northwest! And if you’re planning an Oregon or Washington elopement or wedding, definitely get in touch! I adored it there and I would really love to go back one day soon. And a massive thank you to all the organizers of Let’s Go and all the work they put into it to make it an amazing experience.
