You’re not going to want to miss this stunning Adirondacks wedding full of flowers.

This past summer, I was honored to work with my talented friend Gabriella Riggieri as a second shooter for Alex and Olivia’s gorgeous wedding. These two were married at a sprawling private estate in the Adirondacks, and the entire wedding was impeccable. Olivia wore a gown and veil from one of my absolute favorite designers – Danielle Frankel. She accented everything with delicate emerald green earrings and an emerald necklace down her back that belonged to her grandmother. Alex wore a chic white suit she had custom designed by Di Stefano. 

Every time I photograph an Upstate New York wedding, I’m struck by how lovely the area is, and this wedding day was no exception. It was warm and sunny, and the brides utilized every part of the property for their celebration. They had the ceremony between two chimneys that belong to the ruins of a building on the estate. Foret Design studio installed flowers that transformed the chimneys into the perfect ceremony backdrop, and the aisle was lined with plush rugs. The cocktail hour was held on an embankment next to the lake on the property, and dinner was one long table laden with fruit and flowers that stretched across a footbridge. 

Aside from the beauty of the setting and decor, the other thing that struck me about Alex and Olivia’s wedding was how meaningful they made it. Their ceremony was thoughtful and personal; they were married by a close friend and had family members do readings. And throughout the day, both brides were so present with their family and friends. Guests were so happy for these two, and everyone partied up a storm on the dance floor where there was even a surprise Drag performance!
