Julia & Jeff: A Wintery Massachusetts Wedding Video: New England Wedding Videographer

For those of you who haven’t heard, Ramblefree Photo Co. recently announced that we’re adding videography services starting this 2018 season! We’re so excited about videography and we’re having so much fun working with couples for their weddings and engagement sessions. Julia and Jeff got married this past November, and we photographed their gorgeous wedding at Old Sturbridge Village. A few months later they decided they wanted to do a day after video. Day after sessions are such a good idea. You get to wear all your wedding clothes again and get some beautiful photos or video without any of the potential stress or time crunch of the wedding day.

For their session, we decided we wanted to do something outdoorsy to complement Julia’s boho Essence of Australia gown and showcase the beauty of New England in winter. Jess, Julia, Jeff, and I all headed to Purgatory Chasm State Park in Sutton, MA. Purgatory Chasm in winter is fairly treacherous. It gets really icy and the rocky terrain becomes almost impossible to traverse. So we didn’t actually go into the chasm, but luckily the woods and rocks surrounding the chasm are just as lovely. We also lucked out with the weather and had a perfect afternoon and evening. There was just the right amount of snow on the ground but the day was mild and the sun was warm and golden. We walked around in the forest, listened to some good music, and filmed away while Julia and Jeff snuggled and were just generally perfect and adorable.

So, without further ado, here is Jeff and Julia’s couples session!

Special shout out to my super talented friend Kate who did Julia’s makeup. Doesn’t she look stunning?

Julia’s bouquet and flower crown were full of beauties like winter greenery, anemones, and hydrangea, and her simple veil from Etsy completed her look. If you’re going to do a session outdoors, it’s also a great idea to get a dress that is easy to move and walk around in. And this one was perfect for all that!

So if you are looking to hire a videographer for your 2018 or 2019 wedding, get in touch! We can’t wait to talk to you about documenting your love.
